(1) A person who violates section 8 shall be punished with a fine up to three thousand rupees or imprisonment for a term up to six months or both.
(2) A person who violates section 9 shall be fined up to one thousand five hundred rupees or imprisoned for a term up to three months or both.
(3) If the substance or process prescribed in accordance with section 10 does not have the prescribed quality, or if someone uses such substance or process without affixing a proof mark, such person shall be punished with a fine of up to five thousand rupees or imprisonment for up to one year or both. (4) Anyone According to section 11, if the substance is not of the prescribed quality, or attempts to export or import, such person shall be fined up to three thousand rupees or imprisoned for six months or both.
(5) A person who violates any other section of this Act shall be punished with a fine of up to one thousand rupees or imprisonment for a term of one month or both.
(6) Substances that have been used or imported with quality certificates or proof-marks in violation of this Act will be confiscated.
